Chris Jude, D.O. Primary Care Physician

Dr. Chris Jude, D.O. was born and raised in Eastern Kentucky. He's been a staple to the healthcare community since earning his medical degree in 2015. Before pursuing a medical degree, Dr. Jude worked as a leader in the fiber optics industry. Ultimately he would change his career path in hopes of serving rural Kentucky and West Virginia in a medical role. Dr. Jude earned his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from the University of Pikeville in 2015. He also holds a bachelor's degree is biomedical sciences from Marshall University.

Amanda Young, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Amanda Young earned her MSN, FNP-C from Kentucky Christian University in 2019. Her clinical practicum consisted of Family Practice, Gastroenterology, Women's Health, and Pediatrics. She earned her national certification (NRCME) as a DOT Medical Examiner in 2022. She focuses heavily on women's health care and performs pre-employment, school and sports physicals.

Since 2021 the Pioneer Rural Health Clinic staff has served rural Eastern Kentucky. We created a central affordable medical hub with hometown faces to meet your medical needs in one place.
